Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Lubbock is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lubbock follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

After getting an oil change and finding out I had a leak I took my car to complete auto repair store #2 on 50th St. Joe was the guy that helped me. He quoted me a price initially for part and labor to fix the oil leak, once the work was started they came across other things that needed to be fixed. Joe contacted me and let me come in to see what the other repairs would be and the cost added. I agreed to getting everything fixed, whereas the price I was originally expecting to pay tripled I exceeded my budget. I then found out I had an extended warranty that could possibly help pay for my vehicle repairs. I contacted Joe informing him about this and at the time my car was ready for pick. Joe did inform me that my warranty should have been mentioned before repairs got started due to the process of how everything works, however he did inform me that we could still give it a try. I got the paperwork emailed to Joe and he went out of his way to contact my warranty company right away providing them with all information they needed and asked for. The same exact day hours later Joe called and told me I was blessed enough to get majority of the cost for my vehicle repairs paid through my ex

I was dealing with problems shifting into drive, and Complete Auto quickly looked at my car. Everyone was kind, informative, and understanding. Turned out to be the transmission needing to be replaced, which no one ever wants to hear. Joe was more than willing to help me get in contact with the warranty company. Joe also kept me updated throughout the whole process. I will definitely be bringing my car back here for repairs.

My daughter is a Texas Tech student and had a check engine light on her Nissan Frontier. Preliminary diagnosis from Auto Zone was a bad cam shaft position sensor. She called Complete Auto Repair and spoke with Greg who told her they would have to do their own diagnostic and if it indeed required replacement of the cam shaft position sensor the ball park repair cost was $400. Although they said they would have to do their own diagnostic, it was not apparent to my daughter that the diagnostic labor charges would be in addition to the repair cost. She dropped off the car at the 50th street location and after a few hours was contacted by the service advisor Dave and told that the initial diagnosis was correct; however, the repair cost to replace one sensor including diagnostic fee would be $750. The reasons given for the higher cost were that they only replace parts with genuine Nissan parts - a fact that was not disclosed earlier - and there was no credit for the diagnostic fee against the repair. The repair quote was for a single passenger side position sensor replacement and included one hour of labor for the installation and one hour of labor for the diagnostic. After the fact, I

I had the unfortunate situation of driving my truck from Dallas to Lubbock only to have my piston blow out when I got in town. A few locals recommended Complete Auto Repair, so without knowing anything else, I dropped it off there and was helped by Joe. He was excellent with communication, empathy, and did an honest engine rebuild with his team. Although it was expensive, everything was transparent and with my consent before moving forward. The empathy was when they understood I was from out of town and couldn't hang around long, so they made sure to get it done fast, prioritized my vehicle, and now everything runs perfectly. I'd recommend them for sure and just ask for Joe!

I had original went in to get my key fob programmed thatβs all. This is the worst place to go first off the mechanic didnβt know how to start my car which after he tried so many times the steering wheel and brake locked. Then the guy tells me I need to buy another key for him to program my original key. After all of that he tells me the key frequency canβt connect which he said it was working before. Highly donβt recommend for any key or key fob services. And itβs high priced for no guarantees on services.
